⚡SparkLend x Gnosis Chain
MakerDAO recently conducted a poll seeking input on the prospect of introducing the Spark Protocol, a lending marketplace inspired by Aave v3, on Gnosis Chain. This anticipated launch promises to empower users by allowing them to natively mint DAI using Gnosis Chain collateral.
A poll is underway in the Maker community to bring SparkLend to the @gnosischain.

Spark is the Defi and decentralized assets focused part of Maker and is a perfect fit for Gnosis Chain. With the planned integration (x)DAI can be (effectively) minted natively on Gnosis against collateral on Gnosis. In addition we are planning to bring sDAI to Gnosis as well! https://t.co/hRCz2tEC24

Notably, Karpatkey, who are managing GnosisDAO treasury, have already begun exploring compelling proposals in anticipation of the forthcoming SparkLend launch on Gnosis Chain. Among these propositions is the potential allocation of a significant portion of DAI currently held within the xDAI bridge into Spark Protocol.
At @karpatkey, it proposes depositing most of the DAI in the @GnosisChain xDAI bridge into Spark Protocol’s DSR.

This would attract an injection of new DAI into the Gnosis ecosystem, while creating over $1M of new incentives for Gnosis Chain annually.
